Born in 1980, Rocco lives on the photpgraphic sets of his father Oliviero Toscani.
He graduates from St. Stephens, Rome in 1999 and that same year enters Fabbrica as assistant photographer and video artist. It is here that he produces ‘We, on Death Row’, a documentary for Benetton.
In 2004 he graduates from The Art Institue of Chicago and begins working as Art Director for Studio Toscani.
In 2005 he moves to Paris as a free lancer, working in the fashion industry and for various clients, he also produces the book ‘Gay Pride’ with Oliviero Toscani.
In 2007 he returns to Italy to work at La Sterpaia, Workshop of the Art of Communication as Art Director for various projects including Music Box (musical, interactive channel on Sky), Human Race, a photographic project documenting the differences and similarities of people, and various publications (including ‘Inter! 100 Years of Emotions)
He continues to work free lance for magazines and advertizing campaigns.
